The Fredenstein Bento 6S "module carrier" is a high-performance 500 Series chassis that accommodates six modules in a 2-RU compact form factor. Fredenstein designed the Bento 6S with several features that set it apart from many other 500 Series racks we've encountered here at Sweetwater. Its hefty output current capability handles virtually any combination of modules. Onboard audio routing lets you daisy-chain modules with a simple flip of a switch on the back panel. Compressor bus linking lets you link compressor modules by engaging rear-panel switches. And each slot is fitted with an auxiliary audio input and output, for convenient insertion of effects and the like. Utilitarian features of the Fredenstein Bento 6S include a multi-Layer backplane for enhanced signal integrity and lower noise floor, a master ground-lift switch, and a switching-regulator universal power supply designed for extremely low noise.
